‘He promised me an apology’: Former Labor MP calls out Anthony Albanese
Former Labor MP Emma Husar has called out Anthony Albanese for ignoring issues within his own party when it comes to the treatment of women.
The former federal member for Lindsay was forced to resign after being accused of bullying and misconduct by former staff.
But a subsequent independent investigation cleared her of all allegations.
Ms Husar told Ben Fordham “the Labor Party abandoned me”.
She says the Labor leader owes her an apology he promised but never delivered.
“I think he needs to dismount his sanctimonious high horse immediately and take a look in his own backyard.”
