The US Lamb Industry has petitioned the Biden government to curb Australian and NZ lamb imports and has asked for protection to allow American farmers to double their share of the domestic market from today’s 26 per cent to 50 per cent over ten years. 

The US is Australia’s most valuable market for lamb and Chris O’Keefe has questioned the Prime Minister and his government if they truly care about Australian farmers. 

“How can we trust the Albanese government to look after our farmers interests by convincing Biden, Harris and Trump respectively?” O’Keefe said on 2GB Drive.
