Documents on Wieambilla killer withheld because he ‘cannot consent’
NSW Education has refused to release documents relating to one of the gunman who killed two police officers in rural Queensland in December.
Nathaniel Train, along with his brother Gareth, murdered Constables Matthew Arnold and Rachel McCrow, as well as neighbour Alan Dare on their property in Wieambilla.
He had previously worked as a school teacher across multiple schools in Queensland and NSW and was the principal of a primary school in Walgett until he suffered a heart attack in August 2021.
NSW Education has withheld documents relating to his career following a request from The Sunday Telegraph reporter Anton Rose.
You can’t make this up. @NSWEducation is refusing to release documents relating to deranged Queensland police killer Nathaniel Train because he’s dead and can’t be consulted … pic.twitter.com/T38yavs8iz

A spokesperson said because Train is dead, he “cannot consent to the release of his information”.
“I have never heard anything as ridiculous in my entire life,” Ray Hadley said. “We will seek out the NSW Education Minister.
To think that this murderous bastard should still enjoy his right to privacy after what he did with his brother and former wife…”
