Managing Director of Judo Bank Warren Hogan has said the government should be focusing on individuals that need income support amid rising prices.

Mr Hogan told Jim Wilson, “I think they should be looking to target people with income support who are most affected as opposed to taking the fuel excise down”.

With Australians struggling with the cost of living he says monetary policy will be able to slow down inflation.

“Now the government is in a reactionary situation where they must try alleviate these pressures for those most vulnerable.”
