Donald Trump pleads NOT GUILTY
Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty in a New York Court to 34 charges relating to the falsifying of business documents.
It’s believed to relate to hush money paid to buy the silence of an adult film star ahead of the 2016 election.
The former US President remained silent as he was taken into police custody and formally charged.
Five photographers were allowed in court, showing Mr Trump flanked by his lawyers and secret service detail, as well as two police officers.
US attorney Lisa Bloom who represented women who came forward with sexual misconduct allegations against Donald Trump, believes he won’t go to trial for some time.
