Dylan Alcott hopes Logies win inspires kids with disabilities
Legendary Paralympian Dylan Alcott says he hopes his Logies victory inspires children living with disabilities to achieve their dreams.
The eight-time Grand Slam champion tennis player took home the Graham Kennedy Logie for most popular new talent at last night’s Logie Awards.

He tells Ben Fordham it was important to him to use his acceptance speech to inspire the 4.5 million Australians currently living with a disability.
“Kids might be watching last night, going ‘oh my god, I’m like that, I’m in a wheelchair just like him’.
“It just shows, don’t let that disability stop you from doing it. You can still live a happy, normal, successful life when you have a disability, as long as you get given opportunities.
“So, it’s up to us to give those opportunities to the next generation so they can be the best version of themselves.”
