Easter Show boss ‘incredibly chuffed’ with special royal appearance this April
Princess Anne is making her way down to Australia as the guest of honour at the upcoming Easter Show in April.
The Queen’s daughter will have the red carpet rolled out to open this year’s show.
Further details are yet to be announced but the 71-year-old may also visit other parts of rural and regional NSW.
General Manager of Sydney Royal Easter Show and 2GB host Murray Wilton told Deborah Knight, “This year is 200 years in the making”.
“She wanted to ensure that she visited the Sydney show.
“Being our 200th, that’s the sole purpose of her visit to Australia.
“We’re incredibly chuffed and very very excited about our royal highness being here for the grand opening.”
Murray said her appearance will be in the main arena.
