Easter Show boss promises security crackdown after fatal brawl
The Sydney Royal Easter Show is looking to implement stronger measures to prevent violence after a fatal brawl erupted.
A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in a brawl that erupted at Sydney’s Royal Easter Show on Monday night.
It follows a violent brawl that broke out on the final night of the show last year.
Sydney Royal Easter Show General Manager Murray Wilton told Jim Wilson he will be requesting police assistance to implement even stricter security measures.
“We’re a little bit tired of young people coming to the show and using this as their playground.”
