Elderly couple gypped by compulsory land acquisition achieve breakthrough
There has been a breakthrough in the dispute between an elderly couple in the southwest and Sydney Water.
David and Judy Kean had their property turned upside down due to compulsorily land acquisition by the state government.
Since the chat yesterday on Drive, the construction at the Kean’s place has this afternoon ceased immediately.
Sydney Water plans on sitting down with Judy and David to hear their concerns and reach a suitable compromise.
Liverpool Council is also set to acquire the front of the property, enabling the Keans to finally leave.
