England seamer Liam Plunkett has injured his left hamstring during the second ODI at the SCG.

Plunkett pulled up while running in to bowl, immediately retrieving his hat from the umpire and walking straight off the ground.

England captain Joe Root had to complete the over.

Plunkett, the first-change bowler, sent down just eight balls, meaning the visitors are effectively one bowler down.
