Donna Davis is stepping down as Lord Mayor of Parramatta, Ray Hadley has exclusively revealed, as she will be sworn into parliament as the MP for Parramatta on Tuesday.

She will give her inaugural speech on Thursday.

City of Parramatta CEO, Gail Connolly will work with Ms Davis to determine the date for the Extraordinary Meeting to elect a new Lord Mayor.
