Businessman Charif Kazal, who was labelled corrupt by ICAC in 2011, has been vindicated by the United Nations.

The ICAC inquiry against Kazal was deemed by the UN Human Rights Committee to constitute a breach of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
