EXCLUSIVE: Masks in NSW airports no longer mandated from June 17
Jim Wilson has revealed that masks will no longer be mandated in New South Wales Airports from June 17.
A NSW Health spokesperson contacted ‘Drive’ to reveal the news.
In line with the advice of the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), mask-wearing in airports in NSW will no longer be mandated from 17 June 2022 under an amendment to the Public Health Order.
NSW Health, in line with the AHPPC, continues to strongly recommend continued mask-wearing in airport terminals and other public indoor settings where physical distancing is not possible.
It remains mandatory to wear masks in some settings in NSW, including at health
