Sydney scammers ringleader wanted by Scotland Yard
The alleged ringleader of a roofing scam, targeting Sydney’s elderly, is wanted for 60 burglaries in the United Kingdom.
Three Irish nationals were charged with scamming a 72-year-old Bexley man who was allegedly charged $42,000 for repairs that police say left holes in his roof.
Authorities arrested 20-year-old Irish national Jordan Hearne at Sydney Airport, with three watches valued around $73,000 along with $8,000 cash.
He has been charged with aggravated break and enter and denied bail.
NSW Police have discovered he was intending to travel with a stolen passport and have revealed his real name is Myles Connors.
A reliable source has told The Ray Hadley Show Connors is wanted by Scotland Yard for 60 burglaries in 13 counties across the United Kingdom.
Ray Hadley reveals British police will seek extradition once Connors answers to his current charges.
“I guess he won’t be here all that much longer.
“He’ll be here for what will be a relatively short jail sentence and then he will make his way back to the UK.”
