EXCLUSIVE | Two Sydney schools evacuated after threatening graffiti found
Two schools in Sydney’s north-west have been evacuated after threatening words were reportedly found on the bathroom walls.
The high school, Marian Catholic College, in Kenthurst evacuated its students and notified police of the potential threat.
St Madeline’s Primary, next door to the high school, also evacuated their students and staff onto the school oval as a precaution.
In an email to parents, St Madeline’s Principal Jeanette Black says “the front driveway is now open and we will have normal pick up & bus arrangements for the children.”
She advises parents the police arrived and found no suspicious objects.
Year seven Marian Catholic College student James tells Ben Fordham “it was like a usual evacuation.”
“St Mads went back into their school early, but Marian had to stay out for another half an hour to 45 minutes, until the police said it was clear and good for us to go.”
