Exodus Foundation urgently needs gifts for men
Imagine trying to prepare more than 70 hams, 55 turkeys and half a tone of vegetables.
That’s exactly what Reverend Bill Crews is doing for his annual Christmas Day Foundation Lunch.
But food isn’t the only way the foundation aids the community. It gives hundreds of gifts to disadvantaged families on Christmas day.
Rev. Bill Crews joins Michael McLaren to urge people to donate gifts for the cause.
“We’ve been inundated this year. But we’re really stuck for Christmas gifts for men.
“We need 400 men’s Christmas gifts.
“Most of the people in need are poor buggers down on their luck.”
The Exodus Foundation is appealing for:
Socks, underwear, aftershave, toiletry packs, books and other general gifts you might give to a father or partner.
