A Ukrainian MP refusing to leave Kyiv has shared a devastating account from the ground as Russia continues its invasion.

Russian forces have taken control of the key port city of Kherson and heavy shelling continues on the capital Kyiv and Mariupol in the south.

Kira Rudik told Ben Fordham “it’s a fight of tyranny versus freedom”.

“We have heard Putin threatening to destroy Ukraine, but so far the Ukrainian army is kicking his hide.”
