Before the pandemic, backpackers were an employer’s dream with around 300,000 working holiday-makers arriving each year.
They also pumped more than $3 billion into the economy.
Founder of Backpacker Job Board Matthew Heyes told John Stanley said after two years, it’s a welcome sight.
