Flying foxes destroying east coast of Australia
Millions of deadly bats continue to take over the east coast of Australia, from the centre of Sydney to the remote areas near Rockhampton.
The native flying foxes have reached plague proportions and are protected by law despite carrying the deadly lyssavirus among other diseases.
Alan speaks to Doctor Reg Cammack who lives at Emu Plains in Sydney’s west, his home has become almost uninhabitable due to a nearby bat colony.
“I always thought politicians were elected to look after the interest of the populous and in this particular case their health and safety.”
