Former Rugby League boss backs stadiums plan
Former Kangaroo and head of the ARL John Quayle is throwing his support behind plans for three first-class rectangular stadiums in Sydney.
The government intends to spend more than $2 billion knocking down and rebuilding Parramatta, Allianz and ANZ Stadiums.
Mr Quayle tells Alan Jones, you very rarely get an opportunity to create a network of stadiums equal to anything here or overseas.
“That allows us, the biggest city in Australia, the opportunity then to compete on an international level against everyone else.
“This city not only needs it, but I believe this city deserves it.”
