Former television host Andrew O’Keefe has been arrested over the alleged assault of a woman at a home in Sydney earlier this week.

Police say a 38-year-old woman went to the unit around 1.40pm on Tuesday.

Police say a verbal argument ensued before it’s alleged he grabbed the woman by the throat, pushing her to the ground and assaulting her.

It’s also alleged he assaulted her then punched and kicked her before she left the unit.

He was arrested early this morning, and it’s expected charges will be laid today.
