Ray Hadley has revealed the NSW Treasurer is heading to Egypt for a climate conference during a crucial week of parliament.

Parliament is expected to vote on stamp duty reforms for first-home buyers, while the government faces pressure to find more money to compensate taxi licence holders.

Matt Kean will instead be at the United Nations Climate Conference, COP27, to address the global energy crisis.

But Ray is questioning the location of the conference, pointing out Egypt’s human rights violations.

“I’ve got nothing against Egyptian people … but here is this woke treasurer in a conservative government jumping on a plane at a crucial time.”
