Four year olds learn life-saving skills with first aid training modules online

The CEO at St John Ambulance NSW, Sarah Lance joined Deborah Knight and spoke about the funding received from IMB Bank Community Foundation to help establish ‘Little First Aiders’, an online school program allowing kids to learn life-saving skills.

This program is being offered to 20,000 students from 169 schools in NSW and has the potential to be established across Australia.

Schools that register allow students as young as four to access the modules tailored according to their age.

“Cuts, grazes, bites stings, allergies, nose bleeds, burns… all of these things these guys can respond to. Even if it’s as small as ringing 000 and knowing what to do,” said Sarah Lance.
