G’day Geoff: ‘Pep-up’ for great Bulldog undergoing toughest battle yet
Over 250 members of the rugby league fraternity will gather on Friday in support of Canterbury Bulldogs great Geoff Robinson amid his toughest battle yet.
The 80s front-rower has been diagnosed with throat and tongue cancer, and is undergoing heavy radiation treatment and chemotherapy.
Arthur Laundy, hotelier and close friend of Geoff’s, is throwing open the doors of his Bass Hill pub, the Twin Willows Hotel, to fans and friends of the great ‘Robbo’.
Visitors are flying in from as far as Western Australia and Queensland to “say g’day, Geoff”.
“The best part is he is so excited about it … and that is so lovely to see.”
