GLOBAL network outages impacts 2GB, government services and major retailers
A wide variety of companies and government services such as Service NSW, 13Cabs, Foxtel, St George’s Bank and 2GB and more have been impacted by a massive, national network outage this afternoon.
The issue is believed to be caused by anti-hacking software CrowdStrike which has impacted computer systems using Microsoft.
Early reports mentioned Microsoft’s cloud service was responsible for the outage but this has since been debunked.
