Government is set to water down their vaping legislation to gain support of Greens
From the 1st of July, legislation was set to be enforced which would see people who vape having to go to a doctor or a GP to seek a script and go to a pharmacist to buy their e-cigarettes. However, the Government will water down those vaping changes to gain the support of the Greens.
They will now allow pharmacists to sell vapes without a script and will be behind the counter like many other medications.
“It’s a big concession from the Federal Government,” Maynard said on 2GB Drive.
Maynard has his concerns saying that the “vape industry is targeting kids.”
