Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt has confirmed home COVID testing kits are on the cards for Australians.

The self-conducted home tests kits are yet to be approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration.

Mr Hunt told Ray Hadley while there hasn’t been much support from state chief health officers for home tests, the TGA is looking at approving them.

“We’re expecting that within the coming months, if not weeks.

“I am very, very confident that this will be available for Australians.”
