‘Grow a set!’: Ray Hadley rips into Chris Minns supporting ‘disgraceful’ bill
Ray Hadley has slammed NSW Labor leader Chris Minns for supporting a proposal that could put Indigenous children at risk.
The Greens and Labor have pushed through an amendment to the Care Act in the upper house which would introduce a ‘presumption of harm’ for any Aboriginal child being abused.
In that case, judges would be instructed that taking the child from the family is what causes harm, not necessarily the abuse itself.
NSW Upper House ALP leader Penny Sharpe voted for the changes.
A spokesman for state Labor leader Chris Minns told The Daily Telegraph his position was the same as Ms Sharpe’s.
Ray says Mr Minns won’t win the next state election with these policies.
“You need to remove yourself surgically from these people otherwise, old mate, you’ll be in Opposition!
“You need to grow a set and tell your left you won’t have any truck with this sort of nonsense.”
