GWS Giants optimistic about 2023 AFL season with new coach and gameplan
Josh Kelly, GWS Giants Vice Captain has expressed his excitement at the 2023 AFL season as it sets off.
The Giants faced a challenging year in 2022, marked by their poorest season finish since 2014, which resulted in the departure of coach Leon Cameron from the club.
The newly appointed coach Adam Kingsley has pledged to introduce a distinct gameplay style for his team in 2023.
Josh Kelly told Mark Levy that “anything is possible” this year with the “fresh change” and “new gameplan” is looking promising.
“It’s hard to look back and dwell on anything in particular, but right now I think right now we’re playing a gameplan that’s really exciting,” the Giants Vice Captain said.
“You take a few lessons out of last year but once the new coach rolled into the building, it’s been very look ahead and look for how we can be better.”
