Former NRL player Brett Finch has avoided jail time, after being accused of sharing explicit messages about children on a sex hotline.

Judge Phillip Mahony sentenced Finch to two years imprisonment, suspending it with conditions in Sydney’s Downing Centre District Court.

Ray Hadley says Brett Finch won’t be getting any support from himself in the future.

“Everyone is entitled to a second chance, sometimes a third chance, but no one isĀ  entitled to as many chances as I gave Brett Finch.

“Every time I gave him another opportunity, he let me down.”
