ABC’s health expert Dr Norman Swan has been forced to issue an apology after falsely linking the death of the late Senator Kimberley Kitching and cricket great Shane Warne to COVID-19.

Ms Kitching never tested positive for COVID-19.

“He should be ashamed of himself,” Ben Fordham said.

“I’ve been warning about this man for a long time.”
