‘He’s laughing in our faces’: Novak Djokovic’s ‘double standard’ exemption slammed
Mark Levy has called out the double standards of granting Novak Djokovic a medical exemption to play at the Australian Open.
The world number one says he has been given “exemption permission” to compete at Melbourne Park.
Djokovic had repeatedly refused to disclose his vaccination status after the Victorian government mandated the jab for players, staff and spectators.
“I think this has got to be one of the biggest slaps in the face we’ve had in this pandemic,” Mark said.
“He’s virtually laughing in our faces when we all rolled up our sleeves and got vaccinated.
“The entire country wants an explanation.”
