‘Hogwarts tattooed on his back!’: Harry Potter star shares superfans’ excitement
The lead actor of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has revealed some of the extreme lengths fans of the show have gone to show their support to the wizarding franchise.
Gareth Reeves plays the grown-up Harry Potter in the four-year long show, regarded as Melbourne’s longest-running stage production.
Speaking to Deborah Knight on Afternoons, Reeves says so many people are happy to see Harry, Ron, and Hermione again.
“There are 1400 people each night who turn up in their costumes, and the number of tattoos I’ve seen at the stage door as well!
“I have even met a guy who came up to me and took his shirt off to show the entire Hogwarts castle tattooed on his back!”
