How can we best manage Brumby populations?
Australian brumbies are a major issue in the Kosciusko National Park and Australian Alps, with numbers of the animals leading to a NSW Government plan to bring in aerial shooting to cull the animals.
The Government is looking to lower the numbers of animals running wild, which impacts dozens of native threatened species in the National Park.
Author of The Brumby Wars, Anthony Sharwood, told John Stanley that we need to look at the broader picture when it comes to Brumby management.
