New data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics have found dairy prices are up 15 per cent on last year.

More expensive feed, fertiliser, packaging and energy bills are forcing farmers to pay more to produce dairy products like milk, which is leading to increased prices in supermarkets.

Fifth generation dairy farmer from South Australia, Rick Gladigau, spoke to Chris O’Keefe on the tough situation farmers find themselves in.
