Ray Hadley has called out a disability service provider over a baffling sick day policy.

A parent emailed The Ray Hadley Morning Show after they were told they’d still have to pay the organisation for a day their child didn’t attend due to sickness.

“The parents of the child said they’ve asked for seven days’ notice prior to a sick day, otherwise they charge for the non-attendance,” Ray said.

“Now, even a child without special needs could be quite well on a Monday and sick the following Monday, or sick on the Friday.

“How in god’s name…?”
