Tech expert from EFTM.com Trevor Long says high profile people should  completely wipe their phones before throwing them away. 

“I would take it somewhere to remove your data storage and take your chip to the tip if you are genuinely concerned,” said Trevor.

“For the average person, I want to see phones coming out of the draws and put into the recycling.”
