Shadow Minister for Home Affairs, James Paterson, has clarified that the government received information in December indicating potential involvement of some United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) staff in the October 7 Hamas attacks.

Paterson noted that the government continued to allocate funding to the agency.
