Exmouth residents were left in awe as a rare hybrid solar eclipse brought the town to a standstill.

This astronomical event, which occurs only once every few decades, is a combination of annular and total solar eclipses.

As the Moon passed between the Earth and the Sun, onlookers in Exmouth witnessed the awe-inspiring sight of the sky darkening and the Sun’s corona appearing around the Moon.

Emma from Exmouth Fishing Adventures spoke to Deborah Knight live from Exmouth and provided a unique commentary on the spectacle. “This is so weird, this is magic” she exclaimed.
