NSW Treasurer Matt Kean has denied claims he was responsible for leaking text messages calling the Prime Minister a ‘complete psycho’.

Questions are being raised about who leaked alleged text messages between former Premier Gladys Berejiklian and a cabinet minister, calling Prime Minister Scott Morrison a “fraud” and a “horrible person”.

Mr Kean told Ben Fordham it is “completely insulting” to suggest he was behind the text messages.

“I’ve been through my messages, I’ve got no reason to believe I’ve ever referred to the Prime Minister that way.

“It’s just outrageous and I’m here denying it.”
