Assistant Treasurer Michael Sukkar has expressed his support for controversial Liberal candidate Katherine Deves.

The Warringah candidate has come under fire recently for her comments about transgender people.

NSW Treasurer Matt Kean has called for Deves to be disendorsed.

But Minister Sukkar told Ben Fordham “absolutely I support Katherine.”
