The federal opposition leader says Anthony Albanese has no idea how much his push to renewable energy is hurting Australians.

Peter Dutton told Ray Hadley the Prime Minister isn’t doing enough to slow down rising energy prices.

“I really worry for the country, he is sleepwalking on the job and has completely lost touch with households.”

Mr Dutton says people are facing huge power increases, with renewable energy replacing fossil fuels to blame.

“Wind and solar don’t keep our energy sources running 24 hours of the day.

“It’s a dangerous path the Prime Minister is taking us down.”
