Iconic Australian artist Ken Done has revealed how one of his paintings ended up in the hands of pop star Taylor Swift.

He joined Ray Hadley in-studio for a chat about his life and career as one of Australia’s most well-known artists.

Ken tells Ray how Australian musician Vance Joy asked him to produce a painting to celebrate the end of Taylor Swift’s 1989 world tour.

“I didn’t really know who Taylor Swift was, I had to say.

“It was a kind of secret thing, I had to not tell anybody I was doing it.”

Ken agreed in exchange for a $25,000 donation to UNICEF, which Vance Joy happily agreed to.
