‘I’m incredibly sorry’: NSW Premier admits flood-ravaged northern NSW feels abandoned
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet is apologising to flood-ravaged communities in northern NSW that feel abandoned.
Residents have been forced to take rescue and recovery efforts into their own hands, with over 2000 homes declared unliveable.
Dominic Perrottet told Ben Fordham there will be a review of the way disaster responses are handled in the future.
“I’m incredibly sorry.
“I don’t want anyone in our state to ever feel that they are isolated and abandoned.”
