In honour of International Women’s Day, the State Library of NSW will celebrate Ethel Turner’s life by offering a special display of her love letters.

Some of Turner’s newly revealed love letters during her secret engagement and handwritten accounts will display at the Library’s Amaze gallery.

Sarah Morley is the curator and joined Deborah Knight to talk about Turner’s successful career as a writer, but also as a mother.

“She was successful in all aspects of her career and she took every aspect very seriously, so being a mother she wanted to do super well,” Sarah said.
