The Inner West Council has been slammed for focusing on nuclear subs and the upcoming Glasgow Climate Change Conference rather than lagging vaccination rates.

Sydney’s Inner West Council has about 62.8 per cent of residents fully vaccinated against coronavirus.

Former Inner West mayor Darcy Byrne told Joe Hildebrand it’s no surprise coming from the Greens.

“I think it’s completely out of keeping with the priorities of local residents.

“We are now third-last for first dose vaccinations of any local government area in Sydney.

“We’re not going to get those things right if we’re fixated on foreign affairs.”
