‘Irresponsible’: Wife of NRL player charges $200 for anti-vax workshop
The wife of Manly Sea Eagles player Frank Winterstein is charging fans $200 to hear her anti-vax views.
Taylor Winterstein is touring her ‘Making Informed Choices’ workshop, where she encourages attendees to be “informed” about vaccinations.
She has scheduled several dates in Australia, New Zealand and Samoa.
The mum-of-two claims on her website that the benefits of vaccines are “constantly over-exaggerated” by politicians, journalists and GP’s.
But the President of the Australian Medical Association NSW Dr Kean-Seng Lim has called her “irresponsible” for taking her views to a third world country.
“In countries such as Samoa, they rely very heavily on vaccinations… to actually not divert health resources to looking after people who have vaccine-preventable diseases.”

Mrs Winterstein is the second wife of an NRL player to spread anti-vax views this year, after Shannelle Cartwright, wife of Titans player Bryce Cartwright, stated she wouldn’t be vaccinating her child.
