A pensioner has unleashed on Prime Minister Scott Morrison at a pub in Newcastle.

Scott Morrison was meeting with locals at Edgeworth Tavern when the man took him to task over a lack of funding for older Australians.

Ben Fordham says the man’s aggressive manner was inappropriate.

“It was way over the top,” Ben said.
