‘It’s disappointing’: Penrith Mayor on current local council candidate shortage
There is a candidate shortage in 14 NSW council areas, which has seen some elections called off.
Mayor of Penrith Council Todd Carney joined 2GB Afternoons to discuss the current candidate shortages that have been seen in numerous local council areas.
“It hasn’t sat well with me,” Mayor Carney said on 2GB Afternoons.
