South Sydney Coach Jason Demetriou is still targeting a top four finish for his side as the run home continues to the NRL finals.

The Rabbitohs defeated the Wests Tigers 32-18 in Tamworth on Friday night to move into the top eight on 26 points, while the Storm moved to 30 points in fourth on the ladder after defeating the Eels1.

With his side back at full strength, Demetriou told The Continuous Call Team his team can still surge into the top four to earn a second chance in the finals.

“We’re still ambitious of making the top four,” Demetriou said.

“We want to win every game.

“We’ve got a bye so we’ve only got four more games coming so we’ve got to win every game.”

South Sydney’s run home includes matches against the Sharks, Dragons, Knights and Roosters, as well as the bye.
